How the leading platforms actually differ
Within these categories, the tools QA teams shortlist most often have real, verifiable strengths — and real limits. We represent each fairly.
EvaSys runs on EU-based servers, is ISO 27001 certified and fully GDPR compliant, which makes it a safe default for data-protection-conscious European institutions. General survey builders (SurveyMonkey, Microsoft Forms, LimeSurvey, SoSci Survey) are the cheapest and most flexible entry point. For a single department running an occasional survey they are perfectly adequate. At institutional scale, the absence of SIS-driven automation, standardised instruments and qualitative analysis quickly turns them into a manual-labour problem.
